SLED Regional Account Manager — Cybersecurity Sales

Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Regional Account Manager to cover a CA State Agencies territory within the SLED segment. You will drive revenue, build pipeline, and collaborate with partners to close deals. Expect travel and field-based selling with ongoing enablement and coaching.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of B2B tech sales, with a proven quota attainment mindset and strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ years field sales in B2B tech, preferably SLED.
• Knowledge of local SLED players, procurement, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed quotas and forecast revenues weekly, monthly, quarterly.
• Hold face-to-face meetings with customers and partners monthly.
• Participate in enablement, forecasting, and partner updates.
• Create and track opportunities (leads, renewals, quotes) in Salesforce.
• Address customer satisfaction requests promptly.
• Drive sales cycles and provide presales support.
• Collaborate with CAM and reseller network to drive deals.
• Follow up inbound/outsourced leads and conduct outbound prospecting.
• Lead customer presentations and demos via online tools.
• Summarize opportunities and report progress to Fortinet team.
• Act as liaison between partners, customers and Fortinet teams.
