Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients and participate in scene calls. The role emphasizes safety, high-quality patient care, and teamwork within an air medical program.

Responsibilities include medical care from initial contact through handoff, documentation, base checks, flight briefings, and equipment maintenance. Licensure and certifications must be current, with FP-C due within 24 months and instructor credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Licesure/certifications required: EMT-P, FP-C within 24 months, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months; instructor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatch.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education and safety documentation.
• Operate and maintain flight equipment and supplies.
