Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to perform advanced pre-hospital and in-hospital care, document care, and support flight operations. The role requires an EMT-P license and ongoing certification maintenance.

The position emphasizes aircraft safety, patient documentation, and collaboration with EMS, hospitals, and crew. Compensation starts at $20.92/hour plus DOE and a $4.17/hour GEO modification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and education documentation.
