Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air medical transport team, delivering pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support during rapid patient transfers.

Responsibilities include completing patient care records, performing base checks, maintaining certifications, and participating in pre-mission briefings to ensure safe liftoffs. Minimum of 3 years in a911/critical care; EMT-P licensure and FP-C/instructor certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in a911 or critical care setting required.
• EMT-P license in states served; NREMT-P may be required in assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records after each dispatched flight.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
• Familiar with equipment use and routine maintenance for emergency program equipment.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings; complete required documentation.
