Job description

Superior Skilled Trades is expanding in the Madison, WI market and seeking a motivated Skilled Trades Recruiter to support our existing client base in the region. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of a growing territory, starting remotely and ultimately helping to establish a local SST office.

What You’ll Do:

• Recruit and place qualified tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, HVAC techs, etc.) with construction and industrial clients

• Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and compliance

• Maintain strong communication with field employees and clients to ensure quality service

• Help grow our presence in the Madison market with support from our national recruiting and sales teams

• Partner with leadership to build out a local office as demand increases

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of staffing or skilled trades recruiting experience

• Strong sourcing skills and knowledge of local labor markets

• High sense of urgency and ability to juggle multiple priorities

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating remotely with team members

• Based in the Madison, WI area; willing to work remote to start, with future interest in leading an in-person office

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $50,000 – $60,000

• Total comp potential: $75,000 – $100,000+ (base + commission)

• Full benefits package including PTO, paid holidays, and wellness programs
