Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Cook for a high-volume Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes, and ensure attractive plating.

You will support the Dietary Manager in their absence, maintain sanitation, manage inventory, assist with purchasing and recipe development, and handle last-minute requests for events; must be available every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume culinary operations in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to plate and present dishes attractively.
• Maintains high sanitation standards in kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation.
• Serve as liaison for Dietary Manager during absences to ensure meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
