Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook to join our dietary team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes, ensuring portion control and nutritional quality.

You will plate finished dishes attractively, maintain kitchen sanitation, manage inventory, assist with recipe development, and support the Dietary Manager during absences. Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.
• Healthcare hospitality experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager during absences to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards and clean equipment before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
• Handle special events and last-minute culinary requests.
