Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on accurate meal preparation, portioning, and ensuring high-quality presentation across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

The cook will support the Dietary Manager in their absence, uphold strict kitchen sanitation, manage inventory and recipes, and accommodate special event requests as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to plate and present dishes attractively.
• Support the Dietary Manager in their absence.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen areas.
• Handle inventory, stock rotation, and recipe management.
• Flexibly manage last-minute requests for events.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation.
• Act as liaison for the Dietary Manager when unavailable.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation before and after service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing and recipes.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
