Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Cook to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The cook will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, plate meals, garnish dishes, and ensure timely delivery to residents.

Classically trained and experienced in high-volume kitchens, you will follow standardized recipes, assist the Dietary Manager in their absence, and manage inventory and stock rotation, while handling special event requests.

Qualifications

• Classically trained and experienced in high-volume culinary environments.
• Accurately and efficiently cook meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
• Prepare and portion food, garnish plates, and follow standardized recipes.
• Assist Dietary Manager in their absence, ensure accurate meal prep and delivery, and manage inventory and rotation.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals according to standardized recipes and ensure proper plating.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and purchasing when needed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness before and after service.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events and catering.
