Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented Dietary Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare and portion meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes, while ensuring attractive plating and presentation.

Responsibilities include supporting the Dietary Manager in their absence, maintaining kitchen sanitation, managing inventory and recipes, and handling special events. Availability every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation & culinary excellence: accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & presentation: plate and garnish cooked items for an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership support: act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen sanitation: maintain high sanitation standards by cleaning the kitchen and equipment before and after service.
• Inventory & recipe management: manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development and compliance.
• Special events: flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
