Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a Cook to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility, preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and handling plating and garnishing for accurate meal presentation.

Classically trained and experienced in a high-volume kitchen, you will also act as liaison with the Dietary Manager, ensure recipe standardization, and maintain cleanliness and stock rotation throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Classically trained & experienced in a high-volume culinary environment.
• Follow & prepare standardized recipes.
• Inventory management & purchasing.
• Rotation of stock.

Responsibilities

• Cook accurate and efficient meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items; prepare garnishes for hot menu items.
• Communicate with the Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure meal prep and delivery.
• Clean the kitchen and equipment before and after service.
• Assist with inventory, purchasing, and stock rotation.
• Develop recipes and ensure compliance with standards for variety and quality.
