Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume culinary operations and a commitment to nutritious, well-presented meals.

You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plate with care, maintain sanitation, manage inventory, and support the Dietary Manager during absences. Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with high-volume culinary experience.
• Ability to plan and prepare meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner from recipes.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards before and after service.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure attractive presentation.
• Serve as liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence.
• Maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen and equipment.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
