Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented Dietary Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role requires classically trained cooking experience in high-volume operations and a commitment to excellent meal production and presentation.

You will prepare, plate, and deliver nutritious meals, assist the Dietary Manager during peak periods, and uphold strict sanitation standards. Availability for every other weekend is required, with opportunities in a caring healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume facilities.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, portioning, and cooking of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure attractive presentation.
• Assist Dietary Manager as a liaison during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards by cleaning kitchen and equipment before and after food service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
