Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high‑volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role emphasizes preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean, well‑organized kitchen.

You will assist the Dietary Manager, manage inventory and recipes, and handle special events, while ensuring proper plating and presentation of all dishes. Availability every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure an attractive presentation.
• Support the Dietary Manager during their absence to maintain seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain high sanitation standards by cleaning the kitchen and all equipment before and after service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Handle last‑minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
