Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions, Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in a skilled nursing facility, seeks a talented Cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner per standardized recipes, plate meals attractively, and support the Dietary Manager during absences.

You will maintain kitchen sanitation, manage inventory and assist with purchasing, handle special events, and be available to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in high-volume healthcare or institutional kitchen.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and plating standards.
• Knowledge of sanitization and HACCP guidelines.
• Availability to work every other weekend as required.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation for breakfast, lunch and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleaning of equipment.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation and assist with purchasing.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
