Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a dynamic maintenance professional to support over 250 apartment communities and rental properties.

The role requires punctuality, professionalism, proactive work ethic, and the ability to handle work orders with attention to detail. Responsibilities include completing unit turns, repairs in electrical/plumbing/HVAC, and preventative maintenance while maintaining curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems (e.g., door entry, fire suppression).
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC as part of unit turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal across properties.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Possess applicable maintenance tools.
• Carry out unit make-readies including painting and cleaning as needed.
• Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties as required.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors with a valid insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for tasks.
• Travel to regional or corporate training/conferences as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Escalate health and safety concerns to the manager.
• Willing to work overtime and engage in training programs on HVAC and HUD/LIHTC standards.
