Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to support the upkeep of our affordable housing properties. You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and general maintenance tasks with attention to detail and safety.

You will handle unit turns, respond to work orders, and assist regional teams. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and a proactive approach, with potential for after-hours on-call and training in HUD/LIHTC standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems (eg. Door entry systems, fire suppression).
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting tasks.
• Complete unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure curb appeal and safety on site.
• Respond to and complete daily resident work orders.
• Assist neighboring properties as needed and attend training.
