Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to support over 250 apartment communities and related properties.

The role demands punctuality, reliability, and proactive service to complete work orders, perform repairs, and maintain building systems. You will handle drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance, with on-call after hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of unit turns and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours and assist neighboring properties.
• Conduct unit make-readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning as needed.
• Attend quarterly preventative maintenance checks and travel for training as required.
