Job summary

JES Holdings, through Fairway Management (FWM), is seeking maintenance professionals to uphold and service our apartment communities. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and prepare units for new residents with attention to detail and safety.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair, plus reliable transportation. Training on HUD/LIHTC standards is provided and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of unit turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for after-hours on-call.
• Conduct unit make-readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties as needed.
• Collect supplies from area vendors and operate a registered insured vehicle.
• Report health and safety concerns to management and participate in required training.
