TECOMET is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist in Bucks County, PA. The role focuses on unusual and diversified machining of stainless steel and other alloys, using milling machines, lathes, drill presses and grinders to meet engineering drawings.

The candidate reads blueprints, uses calipers/micrometers, and performs light finishing with attention to precision. 3+ years in a machine shop and proficiency with MS Office are expected; welding is a plus.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, sketches, work orders or written instructions.
Able to read blueprints for finish specifications and critical dimensions.
Ability to read calipers, micrometer, optical comparator and height gauges as needed.
Use of trade mathematics;
Detail oriented and efficient; able to multi-task.
Welding experience is desirable.
Able to work under general supervision and follow instructions.
Excellent data entry skills.

Responsabilités

Set up and operate manual machines (milling machines, lathes, drill press, surface grinder) per drawings.
Rework parts per print with written and verbal instructions.
Maintain production by completing scheduled work on-time.
Inspect components to ensure form, fit, function and dimensional criteria.
Complete routings and inspection reports.
Document time entries and keep shop floor packets current.
Maintain inventory of material and hardware.
Assist maintenance with repair of machine parts.
Collaborate with engineering to develop fixtures and tooling sheets.
Support other production areas as needed.
Maintain clean, safe work area.
Perform other duties as required.
