Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a Manual Machinist in Hatboro, PA to perform diversified machining on stainless steel and other alloys. You will set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, and grinders, rework parts per drawings, and maintain documentation and time entries for shop floor packets.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and are proficient with blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools. A minimum of 3 years in a machine shop is preferred; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers and inspection instrumentation.
• Experience in a machine shop setting with regularly used equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up manual machines (mills, lathes, drill press).
• Rework parts per prints and instructions.
• Ensure on-time production via schedule adherence.
• Inspect components to meet dimensions and form.
• Document routings and inspection reports accurately.
