TECOMET in Huntingdon Valley, PA seeks a Manual Machinist to perform specialty machining of stainless steel and other alloys. You will set up and operate manual machines such as mills, lathes, drill presses, and grinders, reading engineering drawings and ensuring parts meet dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities include precise measurement with calipers and micrometers, completing documentation, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with engineering on fixtures and tooling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years machine shop experience, preferably in an engineering environment.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, work orders or written instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints for finish specifications and critical dimensions.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers and inspection tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate manual machinery including mills, lathes, drill presses, gun drills, and surface grinders.
• Rework parts per print with written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain production schedules and on-time delivery.
• Inspect components and assemblies to ensure form, fit and function.
• Complete routings and inspection reports; document time entries.
• Assist with fixture development and tooling with engineering.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
