TECOMET in Willow Grove, PA is seeking a Manual Machinist to perform highly diversified machinist work on irregular shapes and alloys such as stainless steel. The role involves machining, light finishing, and using hand tools under supervision from engineering and production teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of machine shop experience, reads blueprints, and is proficient with inspection tools and Microsoft Office.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years machine shop experience in an engineering environment
• Experience with milling machines, lathes, drill press, surface grinder, and hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, sketches and work orders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Data entry and documentation accuracy

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate manual machines per specifications.
• Rework parts per print with written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain production by completing scheduled work on-time as per the schedule.
• Inspect components and assemblies for form, fit, and function and meet dimensional criteria.
• Complete routings and inspection reports as required.
• Document time entries and keep shop floor packets current.
• Maintain inventory of material and hardware.
• Assist maintenance with repair of machine parts.
• Work with engineering to develop fixtures and tooling sheets.
• Assist in other areas of the production department as needed.
• React to on-floor issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized work area.
• Perform other duties or special projects as required.
