Job summary

TECOMET in Bucks County, PA is seeking a Manual Machinist to perform diverse machining tasks on stainless steel and other alloys. You will set up and operate manual mills and lathes, inspect work, and ensure parts meet precise dimensions.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and document production data while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Welding experience is a plus, and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years machine shop experience, preferably in engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings for finish specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual equipment including mills, lathes, drill press and surface grinder.
• Rework parts per print with written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain on-time production by completing scheduled work.
• Inspect components and assemblies to ensure fit and function.
• Document routings and inspection reports; record time entries.
• Keep shop floor packets current and maintain material inventory.
• Assist engineering to develop fixtures and tooling; perform other duties.
