SRS Distribution is offering an entry-level program to give hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, sales, finance, safety, supply chain, and human resources. You’ll learn our business model, culture, and core values through structured, on-the-job training to support a smooth transition into a civilian career.

This role emphasizes safety, practical logistics, and customer service as you shadow branch leadership, handle inventory, operate equipment, and contribute to branch performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include active-duty service member eligibility for DoD SkillBridge or approved military internship.
• 180 days or fewer remaining on active duty at start of program.
• Approval from Chain of Command and Pay Grade E5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA standards, PPE usage, and forklift safety protocols.
• Assist with warehouse logistics including inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Operate material handling equipment and ensure proper loading based on weight distribution.
• Receive, inspect, and store materials with accurate records.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments.
• Perform equipment inspections and document results per DOT and company standards.
• Support routing and delivery logistics using GPS systems and scheduling tools.
• Enter purchase orders and vendor documentation; manage branch transfers.
• Provide counter sales and assist walk-in customers; learn pricing models and overrides.
• Assist with vendor relationships and marketing of slow-moving inventory.
