SRS Distribution, Inc. is seeking an entry-level candidate to gain hands-on exposure across warehouse operations, sales, finance, safety, supply chain, and HR. The program emphasizes on-the-job training and a smooth transition into a civilian career.

Position involves safety compliance, inventory control, equipment operation, and cross-functional collaboration within the Pacific Region (WA/OR/CA/HI), with local travel as needed. No overnight travel required.

Qualifications

• Active-duty service members eligible for SkillBridge or military internship.
• 180 days or fewer remaining on active duty at program start.
• Approval from Chain of Command required.
• Pay Grade E5 and above.

Responsabilités

• Support safety and compliance by following OSHA standards and forklift safety.
• Assist warehouse logistics: inventory control, cycle counts, stock rotation, order fulfillment.
• Operate material handling equipment and ensure proper loading/unloading.
• Receive, inspect, and store materials with accurate records.
• Use WMS and internal tools to track inventory and shipments.
• Perform daily/weekly equipment inspections and document results.
• Support routing and delivery logistics using GPS and scheduling tools.
• Enter and manage purchase orders and branch transfers.
• Provide customer service at counter and via phone/in person.
• Learn pricing models and how overrides affect profitability.
• Build product knowledge and assist vendor relationships.
• Assist with marketing and sales of SLOB inventory.
• Provide administrative support (scanning, filing, organizing).
• Shadow branch leadership to learn operations and career paths.
