Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders.
• Place orders via phone, fax, email, or in person (counter sales).
• Negotiate sale and purchase prices within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory levels by ordering items for customers.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Source products from branch, DC, or supplier inventories.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders; pull inventory and prepare shipments.
• Handle customer returns when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
