Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries, provide quotes, and handle order entry.
• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Influence gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within guidelines.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintain inventory levels for customers.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Source products from branch/distribution center or supplier inventories.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders; pull inventory for shipment.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
