The Site Safety Manager will lead the project safety program, conduct weekly jobsite inspections, orient new workers, train subcontractors, and drive proactive safety initiatives to prevent incidents across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
• 6-12 years of safety experience or combination of education and years of experience in building construction.
• 10+ years of field experience minimum.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives.
• Manage larger projects up to $160M.
• Client interfacing and coordination with subcontractors.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
• Facilitate training for site personnel to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain safety records and incident reporting.
• Investigate all incidents and ensure proper corrective actions.
