Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support project staff and the safety team in delivering compliant safety programs across North America. You will lead safety inspections, orient new workers, manage subcontractor safety plans, and drive a zero-injury culture on each project.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-planning safety meetings, weekly site safety reviews, incident investigations, and maintaining safety records while coordinating with project leadership to ensure OSHA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
6–12 years of safety experience in building construction.
OSHA 30-hour Construction accreditation.
OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well.
Physical ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

Assist in development of the project safety program and ensure OSHA/Clayco compliance.
Establish and conduct jobsite orientations for new project workers; administer participation and issue identifications.
Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives to define safety roles.
Perform regular daily and weekly jobsite inspections and document safety findings.
Lead and conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
Investigate incidents and generate proper reports; maintain safety records.
