Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support project teams and uphold safety standards across North America. You will lead safety programs, conduct weekly inspections, and promote a zero-injury culture on each project.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, train site personnel, and ensure compliance with OSHA, Clayco, and federal/state requirements while maintaining safety records and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of field safety experience in building construction.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientations and trainings for workers.
• Attend and lead safety meetings with project staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Clayco, and federal/state standards; maintain safety records.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; promote a zero-injury culture.
