Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Manager to advance a zero-injury safety culture across projects. You will develop and implement the project safety program, orient new workers, and lead safety training in line with OSHA and Clayco standards.

This role requires managing large-scale projects up to $160M, coordinating with subcontractors, and coaching site personnel while traveling nationwide. Strong leadership and communications skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, EHS or equivalent.
• 6–12 years of safety experience in building construction.
• 10+ years of field experience minimum.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new employees.
• Attend initial project meetings to define safety roles.
• Manage large projects up to $160M.
• Interface with clients and coordinate with safety team.
• Lead other Clayco Safety Supervisors on the project.
• Conduct safety meetings with subcontractors and staff.
• Provide safety training per OSHA/Clayco standards.
