Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an Assistant Site Manager I in San Diego, CA to supervise the staff performing contracted services at the client site and ensure performance aligns with quality and productivity standards defined by the client and the site manager.

You will interface with the client, Operations team, and Corporate departments; assist with payroll, site billing, and service enhancements; oversee equipment and supply usage; forecast budgets and prepare monthly production reports; and

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in reprographic/mail setting.
• Excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of all services contracted by client at the assigned site
• Ensure staff is meeting quality and productivity standards as defined by client and manager
• Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and supplies
• Interface with the client, Operations team, and Corporate departments
• Assist manager with staff payroll, site billing, service enhancements and Employee of the Month nominations
• Supervise tasks or special projects and ensure completion by deadlines
• Initiate communication and problem solving with manager in addressing client's issues
• Assist manager to manage budget and control expenses effectively
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges
• May contact and negotiate with outside vendors
• Perform other duties as requested by Site Manager and client
