Job summary

May Mobility, based in Ann Arbor with operations in multiple cities, seeks a Site Operations Manager to lead a team of Site Supervisors, Technicians, and AV Operators. You will ensure safety, reliability, and service quality while reporting to the Customer Operations Manager and partnering with customers and partners.

You will balance people leadership with process execution in a startup environment, overseeing budgets, staffing decisions, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a people leader in a fast‑adapting and customer‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to make judgments in ambiguous situations and drive process improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and willingness to undergo a driving record check.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business/Operations or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Site Supervisors, Technicians, and AV Operators to run shuttle operations.
• Ensure safety guidelines and cultivate a culture of safety beyond reproach.
• Track site performance metrics and oversee daily protocols and reporting.
• Manage budgets and align spending with site operating goals.
• Collaborate with People Operations for staffing and performance decisions.
• Coordinate with engineers on technical issues requiring escalation.
• Train new site leadership and test new vehicle technology rollouts.
• Cover shifts outside normal hours and travel up to 10%.
