Dow Texas Operations in Freeport, Texas seeks a Site Logistics Operations Performance Leader to lead loading, unloading, storage, transfer and movement of chemical products. You will partner with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and EH&S to drive safe, reliable, and efficient logistics, with a focus on process safety and operational discipline.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent military experience.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing/operations experience in a chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, or high-hazard setting.
• Understanding of process safety, operational discipline, risk management and continuous improvement.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Lead frontline site logistics operations including loading, unloading, storage, transfer, and transport.
• Build and maintain a strong safety culture through visible leadership and active engagement with operations staff.
• Drive compliance with process safety, environmental, regulatory, and operating requirements.
• Partner with production facilities to safely and reliably execute logistics activities.
• Lead and develop operators, shift leaders, and technical personnel to achieve safe, reliable daily operations.
• Strengthen team capability via coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance safety, reliability, productivity and cost.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with hazardous chemical handling and facility operations.
• Improve management systems, work processes and operating procedures for sustainable performance.
• Prioritize resources to maximize value and eliminate non-value activities.
• Ensure corrective actions from self-assessments, audits, RCIs and KPI gaps are implemented.
• Champion operational excellence through data, metrics and risk-based decision making.
• Serve as or develop capability to serve as Facility Work Group Leader delegate.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production and EH&S to improve performance.
