Job summary

Dow Inc. in Freeport, Texas, seeks a Site Logistics Operations Performance Leader for its Texas Operations site. You will lead logistics activities, drive safety culture, and partner with production, maintenance, engineering, and EH&S to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The role emphasizes developing capabilities, improving process safety, and delivering sustainable site performance in a complex chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing/operations experience in chemical/high-hazard environment.
• Understanding of process safety, operational discipline, risk management, and CI principles.
• Experience with hazardous materials and complex industrial processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline operations performance across site logistics activities (loading, unloading, storage, transfer, transportation).
• Develop and maintain a strong safety culture through visible leadership and coaching of operations personnel.
• Drive operational discipline and compliance with process safety, environmental, regulatory, and operating requirements.
• Partner with production facilities to safely and reliably execute logistics activities supporting manufacturing.
• Lead and develop operators, shift leaders, and technical personnel for safe, reliable daily operations.
• Strengthen team capability through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives improving safety, reliability, productivity, and cost.
