Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Site Logistics Operations Performance Leader for the Texas Operations site in Freeport, Texas.

You will lead logistics activities—loading, unloading, storage, transfer—and drive a strong safety culture while collaborating with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and EH&S to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient site logistics operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or relevant military experience.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical/industrial manufacturing or high-hazard operations.
• Strong understanding of process safety, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling in industrial settings.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline operations performance across site logistics activities (loading, unloading, storage, transfer, transport).
• Develop and maintain a strong safety culture through leadership, coaching, and engagement with operations personnel.
• Drive compliance with process safety, environmental, regulatory, and operating requirements.
• Partner with production facilities to safely and reliably execute logistics activities supporting manufacturing.
• Lead and develop operators, shift leaders, and technical personnel to achieve safe, reliable daily operations.
• Strengthen team capability through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance safety, reliability, productivity, and cost.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks related to hazardous chemical handling and facility operations.
• Improve management systems, procedures, and standards to sustain performance.
• Prioritize resources to maximize value and reduce non-value-added work.
• Ensure corrective actions from audits, RCIs, and KPI gaps are implemented.
• Use data and risk-based decision making to champion operational excellence.
• Serve as Facility Work Group Leader or delegate as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, and EH&S to improve performance.
