Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Site Logistics Operations Performance Leader for the Texas Operations site in Freeport, TX.

You will lead logistics activities, drive safety, reliability and cost improvements across loading, storage and transfer of chemical products, collaborating with production, maintenance and EH&S teams. The role emphasizes coaching frontline teams, building capability, and delivering sustainable performance across process safety, environmental stewardship and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Mgmt, Industrial Technology or related field, OR relevant military experience at a U.S. E-5 or Canadian rank.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/operations experience in chemical or high-hazard environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline operations performance across site logistics activities (loading, unloading, storage, transfer, transportation).
• Develop and maintain a strong safety culture through visible leadership and coaching of personnel.
• Drive operational discipline and compliance with process safety and environmental regulations.
• Partner with production facilities to safely and reliably execute logistics activities.
• Lead and develop operators and shift leaders to achieve safe, reliable daily operations.
• Strengthen team capability through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reliability, productivity and cost.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks with hazardous materials and facility operations.
• Improve management systems, procedures and standards to sustain performance.
• Prioritize resources to maximize value creation and eliminate non-value-added work.
• Ensure corrective actions from audits and RCIs are implemented.
• Champion operational excellence through data, metrics and risk-based decision making.
• Serve as Facility Work Group Leader delegate as needed.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance and EH&S to improve performance.
