Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Site Logistics Operations Performance Leader for our Texas Operations site in Freeport, Texas.

You will provide leadership in a chemical manufacturing environment and oversee safe loading, unloading, storage, transfer, and movement of multiple chemical products. You will partner with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Technical resources to drive safe, reliable, and efficient site logistics operations, focusing on process safety, environmental performance,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent military experience.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/operations experience in a chemical/high-hazard environment.
Knowledge of process safety, operational discipline, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Experience with environments handling hazardous materials or energy sources.

Responsibilities

Lead frontline operations performance across site logistics activities (loading, unloading, storage, transfer, transport).
Develop and maintain a strong safety culture through leadership, coaching and engagement with personnel.
Drive operational discipline and compliance with process safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
Partner with production facilities to safely and reliably execute logistics activities supporting manufacturing.
Lead and develop operators, shift leaders, and technical personnel for safe, reliable daily operations.
Strengthen team capability through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, reliability and cost performance.
Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks in hazardous chemical handling and facility operations.
