Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc in Washington, DC seeks a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to support project scheduling, field coordination, and safety administration. You will assist in planning, directing, and controlling building aspects to meet budget, quality, time, and safety objectives.

Responsibilities include formulating schedules with the project manager, maintaining daily logs, coordinating with subcontractors, and overseeing closeout activities with owner/architect acceptance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience; tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces a plus.
• Project lead experience a plus; ability to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with project manager in formulating project schedule and ensure proper methods and sequence of installation.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors and ensure fair treatment and safety.
