HITT Contracting Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent for Industrial projects. The role supports scheduling, coordination with field staff and subcontractors, and closeout activities through owner/architect acceptance.

The candidate will maintain daily logs, uphold safety standards, and help plan site logistics to meet budget, quality, time, and safety objectives. Prior GC and tenant renovation exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four‑year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction, including GC work; tenant renovations and fast-paced environments are a plus.
• Experience leading projects is advantageous.
• Ability to master project software like Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating the project schedule with the project manager and ensure proper installation sequencing.
• Maintain quality standards and accurate daily documentation of work orders and site conditions.
• Manage punch list and closeout process with owner/architect acceptance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to resolve issues and meet schedule targets.
• Support safety program administration and compliance on site.
