Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to support the project team in managing the workflow, aligning field activities with the schedule, and maintaining daily logs and site conditions.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and help closeout procedures while upholding HITT safety standards on-site. The role requires collaboration, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including working with a commercial general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating the project schedule with the project manager and ensure proper sequence of installation.
• Maintain HITT quality standards and daily documentation of work orders and site conditions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, manage punch list and closeout, and support safety inspections and compliance.
