Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support community job-site management and deliver high-quality homes on schedule while providing excellent customer service.

You will help schedule and supervise subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and maintain site discipline and quality control throughout construction, with regular site visits and coordination between teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive between sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read plans and construction documents.
• Proficiency with MS Office and DRH Construction applications.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and supervising job site subcontractors.
• Enforce site safety programs and company standards.
• Maintain quality standards and timely completion of homes.
• Coordinate with superintendent to manage materials, costs, and schedule.
• Conduct homeowner orientation and address issues proactively.
• Ensure customer service throughout the build process.
