Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the community job site. You will assist in scheduling and supervising subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and enforcing safety while ensuring homeowners receive excellent service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months–2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with MS Office and DRH Construction apps is a plus, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to two years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive among sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read plans and other construction documents.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each home daily to assure quality and that work aligns with the schedule.
• Schedule and walk all inspections with inspectors.
• Walk each completed home before homeowner walk-through and closing to ensure completion.
• Conduct homeowner orientation and ensure homeowner satisfaction.
• Aid Superintendent to manage subcontractors on quality, safety, scheduling and cost.
• Enforce site safety program and subcontractor compliance with standards and codes.
• Support construction schedule and deliver high-quality product on time and within budget.
• Provide a superior level of customer service during all phases of construction.
