Job summary

Stantec’s multi-disciplinary office in Tallahassee, Florida has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer – Site / Civil Engineering. We are seeking a candidate with experience in professional practice and design related to land development/community development.

This position may be based in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando, Florida This position will be involved with significant projects, interact with clients and government agencies and effectively working with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in the profession of Civil Engineering civil/site design.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop design through sketches, models, diagrams and visuals.
• Use AutoCAD Civil3D for site, utility and grading plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
• Participate in client project meetings and communications.
• Assist senior engineers with project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Coordinate preparation of project specifications with construction documents.
• Perform calculations using standard software.
• Conduct constructability reviews and QA/QC.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
