Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager in Florida to lead site/civil engineering efforts across Tallahassee, Orlando, or Jacksonville. You will oversee site development, municipal utilities, parks and trails, and federal facilities for diverse clients, coordinating with internal teams and sub-consultants.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, and 10+ years of hands-on civil/site design experience, with hybrid work options and active participation in leadership development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is required.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering design experience with emphasis on land/site development.

Responsibilities

• Execute project delivery and direct supervision over professional and technical staff on projects.
• Lead, coordinate, and delegate proposal, contract, administration, and project management efforts.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and sub-consultants.
• Provide professional engineering design and project oversight including QA/QC.
• Infrequent travel for meetings and supporting teams in other offices.
• Supervise and mentor less experienced staff.
