Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Site/Civil Engineering for our multi-disciplinary office in Florida. This role focuses on land development projects and may be based in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando.

The candidate will design site and grading plans, perform utility layouts, and coordinate with clients and agencies. Responsibilities include leading design efforts, coordinating with internal and external teams, managing scope and budget, and ensuring quality through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 6+ years of Civil Engineering/civil/site design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams and visuals.
• Use AutoCAD Civil3D to create site, utility and grading plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with team and consultants.
• Participate in client project meetings.
• Assist seniors with scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
• Coordinate project specs with construction documents.
