Stantec’s multi-disciplinary office in Tallahassee, Florida has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer – Site / Civil Engineering. We seek a candidate with land development experience and Florida licensure potential. The role may be based in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando, FL.

The position involves design work, client interaction, and team collaboration on major land development projects. Opportunities span design reports, coordination, and growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in Civil Engineering civil/site design.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and visuals.
• Utilize AutoCAD / Civil 3D for site, utility and grading plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal/external teams.
• Participate in client project meetings.
• Assist senior engineers with scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Coordinate project specifications with construction documents.
• Perform and oversee calculations using standard software.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and QA/QC.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.
