Job summary

Stantec in Florida seeks a highly motivated Project Engineer – Site/Civil Design to work on land development and road projects. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida or the ability to obtain within 6 months.

You will lead design tasks, prepare construction documents, coordinate with clients and agencies, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality civil designs for public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all aspects of design with emphasis on technical and project delivery.
• Experience with private and public sector projects.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, hydrology/hydraulic design software and MS Office.
• Client management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of civil design including grading, drainage and roadway design.
• Prepare construction plans, reports, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and agencies for design approval.
• Develop 3D models and provide markups for junior staff.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule in collaboration with PM.
