Job summary

Stantec’s Tallahassee office is seeking a Project Manager, Site / Civil Engineering to lead site development, municipal utilities, parks and trails, and federal facilities projects. The role may be based in Tallahassee, Orlando or Jacksonville, FL, offering hybrid work options and career development.

Key clients include city and county governments, electrical systems, architecture firms, and federal projects, with leadership opportunities and a path to recognition in our leadership program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering design experience with an emphasis in land development / site development.
• Demonstrated project management and business development experience to nurture existing clients and develop new multi-disciplined opportunities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with project teams as well as clients.
• Capability with AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam are desired.
• Efficient project management of multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute project delivery and direct supervision over the output of professional and technical staff on projects.
• Lead, coordinate, and delegate proposal, contract, administration, and project management efforts.
• Collaborate with other internal disciplines and sub-consultants.
• Professional engineering design and project oversight including Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Infrequent travel for meetings and supporting teams in other offices.
• Supervise and mentor less experienced staff.
